| Launched in 2004, the e-Excellence programme utilises F&TRC's research to produce dedicated analysis to help providers understand to what extent their competitors are delivering e-enabled services and how these are meeting the needs of the intermediary sector.
We conduct detailed research and analysis on the functionality and services provided by product providers via their e-commerce propositions in different product areas. Providers complete online surveys and their responses are then analysed in various ways to produce ratings and reports. Free text areas are avoided wherever possible as these inhibit the ability to score responses. The responses are then analysed in various ways to produce ratings and reports.
A scoring matrix is applied to all responses in order to identify the extent to which insurers have met the requirements agreed with advisers. From the percentage scores achieved by insurers we allocate ratings.
As a result of our research, we are able to generate the following reports:
